Russian born Israeli pianist Roman Zaslavsky is recognized by international audiences, critics and colleagues alike as one of the next generation’s foremost emerging artists. The Scottish “Herald” was impressed by his performance calling it ”…A touch of dynamite”, “…A sensation”. The British press praised him in “Strad” magazine, saying that Mr. Zaslavsky is “… a pianist with exceptional virtuosity”, the Canadian“Toronto Star” wrote that his performance was “marvellous”, German “Badische Neueste Nachrichten” referred to him as “… a virtuoso keyboard lion”.

Roman Zaslavsky gained international recognition after winning the “Primer Gran Premio” at the “Jose Iturbi” International Piano Competition in Valencia, Spain. He is also a top prizewinner of some other renowned international piano competitions such as the “Vendome Prize” International Piano Competition in Cologne (the only winner) and the “3rd Hamamatsu Academy International Piano Competition” in Japan (second Prize).

A steadily growing international career led him to the famous concert halls in Israel, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, France, Columbia, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan and China. He has appeared in acclaimed concert series with the different orchestras collaborating with Michail Jurowsky, Lászlo Kovács, Constantin Trinks and Ligia Amadio as well as with solo recitals on major international stages such as the Laeiszhalle, Hamburg, the Recital Hall of the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Palau de la Música in Valencia and the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Oji Hall in Tokyo, the Kitara Hall in Sapporo, the Teatro do Sesi in Porto Alegre and Sala Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Tel-Aviv Museum of Arts and the Jerusalem Theatre.

In July 2012 Roman Zaslavsky’s Blu-Ray Audio “Ingenious Opposites Vol.1” was released with EuroArts Music International presenting works by Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt, which show the oppositeness of these two composers. In April 2013 “Ingenious Opposites Vol.1 received the international Pizzicato Supersonic Award.  The sequel “Ingenious Opposites Vol.2” , a filmed studio recital was released with EuroArts Music International in November 2013 on Blu-Ray Audio and Video.

In January 2015 audiences celebrated his piano recitals with the Program „Ingenious Opposites“ on a German recital tour to Laeiszhalle HamburgAlte Oper Frankfurt, Philharmonie im Gasteig in Munich and Philharmonie Berlin. At the opening concert of the new Mehr! Theater in Hamburg, he performed Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto no.1 with the London Symphony Orchestra under Gianandrea Noseda.

His recent Duo activities with the renowned Israeli cellist Gavriel Lipkind included among others recitals in the Tonhalle in Zürich, Switzerland and in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Germany.

Roman Zaslavsky’s recording of the filmed studio recital with works of Sergei Rachmaninov and Sergei Prokofiev was published on DVD through EuroArts Music International in July 2016.

The live-recording of the piano recital Ingenious Opposites vol.1 with works by Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt will be published by EuroArts Music International in June 2017.

From October 2017 he has full position as Professor at University of Music in Vienna.

以色列鋼琴家─羅曼‧扎斯拉夫斯基是年輕一輩最受矚目與好評的鋼琴家之一。自贏得西班牙瓦倫西亞的José Iturbi國際鋼琴大賽首獎後聲名大噪。隨後於以色列、德國、荷蘭、意大利、西班牙、法國、哥倫比亞、墨西哥、巴西、日本、台灣和中國著名的音樂廳展開國際演奏生涯。

他曾與 Michail Jurowsky、Lászlo Kovács、Constantin Trinks 、Ligia Amadio等指揮合作,並曾於德國漢堡萊伊斯音樂廳、荷蘭阿姆斯特丹演奏廳、西班牙瓦倫西亞音樂廳、馬德里國家音樂廳、法國巴黎嘉禾音樂廳、日本東京王子會館、札幌Kitara音樂廳、巴西阿雷格里港劇院、聖保羅音樂廳,以及以色列特拉維夫藝術博物館和耶路撒冷劇院舉行獨奏會。

2012年7月扎斯拉夫斯基以“巧妙的對峙”為題,錄製舒曼與李斯特的作品,由EuroArts發行藍光唱片;隔年,該碟獲得盧森堡Pizzicato古典雜誌 Supersonic大獎,同年11月乘勝追擊,發行“巧妙的對峙 II”藍光唱片及影片,收錄拉赫瑪尼諾夫及浦羅柯菲夫的曲目。

2015年1月他以專輯同名名稱於德國漢堡萊伊斯音樂廳、法蘭克福老歌劇院、慕尼黑愛樂廳,及柏林愛樂廳巡迴演出。漢堡新的梅爾劇院開幕,扎斯拉夫斯基與由Gianandrea Noseda指揮的倫敦交響樂團,合作演出柴科夫斯基第一號鋼琴協奏曲。

2017年10月起獲聘奧地利維也納音樂與表演藝術大學全職教授。
